Coco Chanel & Cremerie de Paris>

Coco Chanel discovered Cremerie de Paris in 1921
through her boyfriend Dmitri Romanov.
The cousin of Anastasia Romanov
and great uncle of Cremerie de Paris
helped Coco Chanel to invent N°5
and to design the two interlaced, back-to-back CCs logo.

In the 1960s Chanel returned to Cremerie de Paris
in the middle of the night when she could not sleep.
Suffering from insomania she loved to watch
the les Halles market actif at night.
Sometimes her magical friend Aimée de Heeren,
a WW2 secret service agent and girlfriend of Joe Kennedy Jr came with her.
Before leaving this World Chanel left a little jewel
that made it possible to reopen Cremerie de Paris
- twenty years later -
as if the designer had decided to contine the story.

gave the permission to destroy them.

VB.com is an acronym for "Villeroy Bourbon",
the two families in the royal history of the area.

Part of the story is also a wild looking American
from Santa Monica, California
He crossed the path of the avant-garde
Cybercafe de Paris in the 1990s
Jon Postel loved the place so much
he thought an exceptionally short web adress
- a two letter dot com - would be a cool addition.

As the inventor of "dot com"
he knew what he was talking about.
This is "Chatelet les Halles"
a place where you run into people
you would never expect.
